Hall & Room Hire

Bookable by the hour, we have three spacious halls available for hire which are perfect for business, leisure, community, or social use.  They have also proved to be a popular choice for birthday parties, engagements, mehndi’s and weddings.

The Main Hall

Methodist Church

The Main Hall seats 100 guests. It is lined windows along two walls, which flood the space with light and is equipped with a stage. As well as being linked to the Guild Room via bifold doors, this hall has a separate access through interior doors. Access to the Kitchen is via a smaller room.

The Guild Room

Methodist Church

The Guild Room offers an adaptable space comfortably seats 40 guests, boasts a fitted kitchen and bifold doors which open out on to the Main Hall. This space can be hired separately or as one large hall.

The Annexe

Methodist Church

The Annexe is a compact space suitable for smaller meetings and classes. With a maximum seating capacity of 25, it has polished wood flooring and a view of the garden. Access to the kitchen is provided via a serving hatch.

What's included


All rooms have shared access to a spacious and contemporary fitted kitchen with a cooker, microwave, fridge freezer and kettle, two sinks with hot and cold water.


The premises have modern accessible toilets and baby changing facilities.

Parking Space

The church has two car parks able to accommodate 10 cars, and there is plenty of car parking along the streets adjacent to the church. No parking restrictions are in place.

Wheelchair Access

The Church premises is DDA compliant with wheelchair access.

What's allowed

  • Outside caterers or your own food and non-alcoholic drink.

  • DJ's, party entertainers, soft play and bouncy castles (subject to Public Liability Insurance)

  • Crockery, cutlery, tableware, glassware or table linen

  • Cleaning solutions

  • Putting out and storing away tables, chairs and any other equipment

What's not allowed

  • Smoking

  • NO alcohol is allowed on the premises

  • Ceremonial fires

  • Indoor fireworks


Methodist Church

Available to hire for Christian services and other suitable activities in consultation with the minister- e.g. baptisms, weddings, funerals. Disabled access and toilet facilities are available. There is a hearing loop installed.



  • Booking fees for an individual room start from £13.60 per hour. 

  • For large events involving the Main Hall and the Guild Room, we charge a party rate, from £68.00 per hour. The booking fee is payable 14 days before your events.

  • Your deposit will be refunded after the event, provided there has been no damage to the facilities and equipment, or late running fees.


  • Rooms are available for private function hire on Saturdays between 1pm and 10pm and during school holidays.
