Sunday School And Youth
age 3-18 years
Sunday School meets at the same time as the adult service. All our Sunday school leaders are DBS checked.
Through a range of activities and initiatives we aim to foster a sense of community, personal growth, and deepened faith among our youth members. Your children will have the opportunity to be involved in youth led worship services, which provide enjoyable opportunities for them to express their faith creatively through music, drama and testimonies. Goodmayes Methodist church seeks to nurture a generation of young believers who are rooted in their faith and actively engaged in making a positive impact on the world around them by means of these activities and the discussions outlined below.
Juniors
Your children will have the opportunity to explore the teachings of the Bible through stories, crafts, drama and other activities.
SENIORs
Young people's ministry is vibrant and diverse, catering to the spiritual needs and interests of adolescents and young adults. Young people engage in prayer, reflection and discussion on relevant topics such as identity, purpose and social justice. Additionally, we support outreach interests, such as volunteering in local communities, and fundraising for charitable causes, empowering young people to live out their faith in action.
Parent & Toddler corner
At the back of the Church, in the carpeted area, there are toys in the cupboard, which parents and carers are welcome to make use of with their babies and toddlers.

Special Family Events
age 3-18 years & family
All children, from the youngest to our older youth, enjoy participating in a variety of activities together. These have ranged from craft days and parties, to pantomime trips, a youth camp and outdoor challenges at local activity centres (Hargreaves and Chigwell row). We aim to arrange at least one activity per term.

Circuit youth
Older children may also wish to join in activities organised by the Circuit youth, which will launch a programme of events this summer. This is a fabulous opportunity for young believers to get to know likeminded young people in the local area.
