  1. Exit the station, turn right and walk up Goodmayes Road (B177) towards the High Road (A118) 

  2. Cross over at the traffic lights and continue up Barley Lane (B177) past Barley Lane Recreation Ground Play Area on the right 

  3. Once you have passed  Barley Lane Primary School on your right, turn left onto Percy road

  4. Continue along Percy road, past Eastwood road

  5. Goodmayes Methodist Church will be on the left-hand side

BUS FROM GOODMAYES STATION

EL3 (towards Little Heath)

  1. Embark on the EL3 from Goodmayes Station (Stop E) opposite Goodmayes railway station.

  2. Exit the bus at Percy Road (Stop N).

  3. Upon exiting the bus turn left and walk down Barley Lane. 

  4. Turn right into Percy Lane road and continue down Percy road past Eastwood Road.

  5. Goodmayes Methodist Church will be on the left-hand side.

364 (towards Ilford)

 

  1. Embark onthe 364 from Goodmayes Station (Stop E) opposite Goodmayes railway station.

  2. Exit the bus at Percy Road Eastwood Road stop. (Note: This stop is part of a hail and ride section and will not stop at a designated bus stop.)

  3. Goodmayes Methodist Church will be on the left-hand side.

WALK FROM NEWBURY PARK STATION

26 minute walk ​(1.2 miles)

  1. Exit Newbury Park underground station, turn right and use the underpass to cross Eastern Avenue (A12).

  2. Turn left onto Hertford Road and walk down Hertford Road for 0.1 miles until you reach Brook Road. 

  3. Turn right onto Brook Road and walk down 0.2 miles until you reach Aldborough Road South. 

  4. Turn right onto Aldborough Road South and walk down for 500ft until you reach Meads Lane.

  5. Turn left onto Meads Lane and walk 0.5 miles, past 5 roundabouts, until you reach Westwood Road.

  6. Turn left onto Westwood Road. 

  7. Westwood Road turns slightly right and becomes Percy Road. 

  8. Walk down Percy Road for 0.2 miles. 

  9. Goodmayes Methodist Church will be on your right-hand side.

364 (towards Dagenham East)

  1. Exit Newbury Park underground station, turn right and use the pedestrian underpass to cross Eastern Avenue (A12).

  2. Turn left onto Hertford Road.

  3. Turn right onto Buxton Road, passing Newbury Road, Church Road, Brancaster Road, Devonshire Road, St Johns Road until you reach Wards Road.

  4. Turn left onto Wards Road.

  5. Walk to the end of Wards Road (where Wards Road meets Aldborough Road South).

  6. Hail 364 Bus. (Note: This stop is part of a hail and ride section and will not stop at a designated bus stop.

  7. Disembark 364 bus at Percy Road Eastwood Road.

  8. Goodmayes Methodist Church will be on the left-hand side.

396 (towards King George Hospital)

 

  1. Exit Newbury Park underground station and embark on the 396 (towards Little Heath) bus at Newbury Park station (Stand NA). 

  2. Ride 396 for 6 stops and disembark at King George Hospital (Stop A). 

  3. Exit the hospital grounds and turn right onto Barley Lane (B177).

  4. Walk down Barley Lane (B177) for 0.5 miles until you reach Percy Road.

  5. Turn right into Percy Lane road and continue down Percy road past Eastwood Road.

  6. Goodmayes Methodist Church will be on the left-hand side.

PARKING

The church has two car parks able to accommodate 10 cars on a first come first served basis, and there is plenty of car parking along the streets adjacent to the church. No parking restrictions are in place.
